| Abstract |
Compliance with medical therapy in general is often low, and compliance with diabetic control is no better. Numerous studies have shown that patients frequently drop out of treatment for diabetes melitus and that compliance is related to health belief model. Furthermore, even when patients stay in treatment, they often take their medications in a way quite dissimilar from that prescribed.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between compliance and health belief model in diabetic patients. This study has shown that the compliance is related to health belief model. |
