3) Patient had an oral candidiasis.
4) The results of laboratories were like the below,
a) The level of IgG and IgA were higher than normal by serum electrophoresis.
b) The number of platelet and W.B.C. were fairly decreased.
c) Anti HBc and Anti HBs for Hepatitis B were positive.
d) T lymphocyte showed 60% with 29% of active number.
e) The ratio between T4(=T helper) and T8(=T suppressor) was 0.7.
f) In lymphocyte stimulation test, PHA was 7.05 (control 20.09) and Con A was 6.73 (control 14.46) respectively, which were fairly decreased.
g) Natural killer cell was 4% (Normal 5%).
i) Multiple cell mediated immunity skin test was negative(Tetanus, Diphtheria, Streptococcus, Tuberculin, Proteus, Trichophyton, Candida).
j) HTLV-III antibody test showed strong positive.
k) Candida albicans esophagitis was found by gastrofibroscopy.
