For the purpose of obtaining reference materials for increasing the efficiency of occupational healthy aetivities, the knowledge-attitude-practice survey was carried out on 45 union leadership from june to september 1989.
1. The performance rate of the special health screening program, measurement of work environment and occupational health education program was very low and their performance was formal.
2. The deficit rate of the occupational health manpower was high and ineffective on occupational health.
3. The uinon has participated in occupational health activities with low rate, but the attitude of employer toward the occupational health activities was important to the participation of union in occupational health activities.
In the view points of above results, the legal support to the occupational health is thought to be necessary.
