Although fatigue is one of the most common complaints in ambulatory care, research has been minimal. We disigned a controlled study to determine the prevalance of chronic fatigue in periodic health examination, the usefullness of laboratory evaluation.
The results were as follow.
1. The total number of subjects was 277, in which 122 was fatigued persons(the prevalance was 44%), in the age distribution of fatigued persons, the largest was the thirties.
2. there was no significant difference between the fatigued group and the controlled group in laboratory data(Hemoglobin, Hematocrit, Anemia SGOT, SGPT, HBsAg, Anti-HBs, Urine sugar, Chest PA)
