| Abstract |
Background
: As there are many concerns about prevention and control of chronic disability disease, it is emphasized to enhance quality of life and to evaluate functional response of treatment. So we need some index, which is useful in outpatient field easily and quickly. Using index at outpatient field we can readily evaluate and treat chronic patient. In this study, we used COOP chart method for evaluation quality of life, and other functional status.
Methods : We selected chronic renal failure patients undergoing hemodialysis. From 1, September 1991 to 26, September 1991 94 patients surveyed with 7 scales of COOP chart score method. Data was analyzed with ANOVA and Pearson Correlation Coefficient by PC/SAS(sas institute, 1985).
Results : Patients completed COOP chart within 3 minutes and the mean scores of each COOP charts appeared poor functional status mean scored 4.26±0.95. There were significant correlations between the scale of quality of life and other scales of functional status(p<0.001).
Conclusion : Using such an index in our outpatient field we have many opportunities for understanding emotional, social, physical status and planning treatment, establishing patient and doctor relationship also analyzing of functional effects of different treatment. |
| 초록 |
연구배경 : 만성질환의 에방과 조절에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 환자의 생활의 질 및 치료에 대한 기능적 평가의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 따라서 외래에서 짧은 시간에 수행할 수 있는 간편한 지표가 환자의 적극적인 이해 및 진료에 도움이 될 것으로 생각한다. 이에 저자들은 COOP Chart를 이용하여 만성질환의 하나인 만성신부전증 환자중 혈액투것을 받고있는 환자들의 생활의 만족도와 일상생활의 기능정도를 평가하고, 생활의 만족도와 다른기능과의 상관관계를 보고자 하였다.
방법 : 1990년 9월 1일부터 1990년 9월 226일까지 만성신부전증으로 진단받고 혈액투석을 받고 있는 94명을 대상으로 COOP Chart 9개 항목중 7개 항목을 인용하여 설문조사 하였다. 자료분석은 PC/SAS(sas institute, 1985) ANOVA 및 Pearson Correlation Coefficient를 이용하였다.
결과 : COOP Chart의 수행시간은 3분 이내였으며 각 항목의 평균값은 전반적 건강상태에 대한 인지가 4.26±0.95로 가장 낮은 상태를 보였다. 생활의 만족도와 건강의 인지도, 정서적 안정도, 사회생활 정도, 사회적 지지도 사이에 유의한 상관관계를 보였다.(p<0.001)
결론 : 만성병 환자의 치료시 이러한 COOP Chart를 기본 검사로 이용하여 환자의 정서적, 사회적 측면의 치료 계획을 세우는데 도움이 되며, 환자의 일상 및 전반적인 기능 상태를 이해할 수 있어 환자와 의사간의 관계를 밀접하게하고, 치료 적합성의 판정에도 도움이 되어, 가정의학과 외래에서 유용한 도구가 될 것으로 생각된다. |
